Level 505 is the 506th level of the Backrooms.
Description
Level 505, also known as the "Sky Bridges" (or the "Sky Pier") is a series of bridges that spans for an unknown distance. Below and above the bridges are clouds that slowly move in one direction. A gentle breeze constantly flows through the level at all times, resulting in the level to stay at consistent, cool temperatures. The bridges appear to form a grid, each intersecting point being a large island with a small house on it. It is unknown whether Level 505 creates a copy of itself whenever a wanderer enters or if the level is just that massive; no two wanderers have ever made physical contact on the system of bridges.
Each island is supported in the air by a bridge on four sides along with an infinitely extending beam connected to the bottom. The range of the houses' quality is quite wide, with some being plain wooden shacks to some being fairly nice houses. So far, no two houses have shared even the slightest similarity in physical appearance. Each house functions normally, like a regular house from The Frontrooms; how this happens is unknown, as the house is only connected to the island it stands on.

Each house is reported to have at least one crate of supplies, including (but not limited to) bottled Almond Water, flashlights, and first aid kits. At times, a blackout will occur, causing houses in a certain radius to lose electricity. However, one should not worry, as the level is constantly in daytime, making light sources useless. Although the bridges of Level 505 can range in design (some being metal, some wood, etc.), they have been concluded to be practically indestructible, proving to hold incredibly heavy objects, undergo explosions, and weaponry, only to come out unscratched.
The clouds of Level 505 usually stay at a vivid white, but some clouds have been seen to be tinted into a light color, such as blue, pink, purple, brown, etc. Though they mostly obscure the points below or above them, there are times they part, revealing a sky blue void surrounding the level. Occasionally, a light sprinkle may fall on Level 505. When this occurs, the atmosphere will darken by a bit and the breeze will strengthen in force, but not enough to cause the bridges to move. At even more rare events, it may precipitate Almond Water. However, each period lasts at most a few minutes before returning to the peaceful state of the level.
Upon entering, wanderers will feel a sense of calmness and restfulness; this is one of the main anomalous properties that lead to many ending up living there, which has been proven possible due to the abundance of resources. It is worth noting that one's sanity will start gradually draining over time, therefore promoting the consumption of Almond Water. However, this situation is barely one to worry about, due to the abundance of resources in each house.
Though still the planks be, the storm still brews
While light rain falls, the stars continue through
Lonely houses stand on lonely rocks
Waiting, with nothing to eat from the box
The Lord of the Skies no longer resides
And the last starlight, he no longer provides
Now soft winds blow through, tender touches
Caring, almost to the point of brushes.
Bases, Outposts and Communities
Due to either the anomalous properties or vast size of the level, colonization has been unfeasible.
