Description:
Level 396 is a collection of hallways covered in jungle-like decorations. The floors are made of wood, and the walls behind the decorations are white-painted drywall. Most hallways are separated by doors, which range from being 5-100 meters apart. Houseplants can occasionally be found in the corner of some hallways. The ceiling lights above dim slowly, with a 12 hour day/night cycle.
Doors can be found on the sides of some hallways, which sometimes lead into empty rooms or rooms full of plants and jungle flora. You may also find animals inside of these rooms, however this is quite rare. You can also find entities such as Hounds, Death Rats, Camo Crawlers, and Wormlings; however this is fairly uncommon.
The architecture of Level 396 is also noted to appear more wild and jungle-like the further you go, with the decorations slowly becoming more realistic; being real plants instead of ones made of paper. Some hallways have very high ceilings, and sometimes there are ramps and sudden changes in elevation. You can also find tightropes and wooden bridges that can be used to cross ledges.
Bases, Outposts, and Communities:
There are no known bases, outposts, or communities on this level.
Entrances and Exits:
You can enter Level 396 by a specific door on Level 171. However, this is extremely rare.
To exit, you can enter one of the doors, as some of them can lead to other levels. It is also possible to go deep enough until the environment slowly shifts into that of Level 37.
