Level 1,001 is the second level of Cluster II.
Description:
Level 1,001 is a massive complex of rooms with glowing neon patterns covering the walls and floor; containing many obstacles and barriers that can make traversing this level difficult. Murals and neon paintings can be found in many areas, most of which read “Lazer Tag Battlegrounds!”, along with varying catchphrases.
Scattered across the maze are foam boxes which contain a random assortment of laser-tag themed objects; which include protective gear, weaponry such as lasers or lightsabers1, strangely shaped plastic or metal objects, undocumented food and drink packages, and a variety of items with a plethora of anomalous attributes. These supplies appear and disappear at random, allowing for wanderers to stock up in preparation for what’s to come; and the constant warfare present on this level.
The architecture of this level is chaotic and unpredictable, with slopes and impossible variations in ceiling height, as well as large cliff-like areas and floating blocks of neon carpet. There are also many areas that allow you to hide or get a high ground. It is very easy to get lost on this level, and most rooms require you to travel long distances to get across. Additionally, be aware of where you step, and make sure not to go near cliffs — especially when evading entities and other people.
Teams
It should be noted that anyone who enters this level will be split into one of four teams: the Red Team, Blue Team, Green Team, and the Yellow Team. There are also reports of a fifth, "Purple Team", however this remains unconfirmed.
Your starting location will depend on which team you are on, and there are multiple safe zones that exist for each team. These safe zones do not typically house food or water, nor any exits to the level; therefore it is not advised to stay for too long in the safe zone. Attempting to enter a safe zone that belongs to another team will cause you to be blocked off, like there is an invisible wall there. It is also impossible for entities to enter these safe zones. Each team member will be able to find laser tag gear of their own respective colors. It is advised to avoid any members of opposing teams, as they are usually hostile and will attack on sight. The only exception to this is if one is confident enough in their abilities, and know that they will be able to survive.
Entities
Level 1,001 is completely filled to the brim with entities; many of which are undocumented and exclusive to Cluster II and beyond. Ambassadors, Hellbounds, and Pace Walkers are some of the most common. Thankfully, since this level provides a great source of weaponry, it is quite easy to get rid of these entities if you are good with aim.
In addition to normal team members, there are also Facelings decked out with laser tag gear of their own respective team color. They are typically much more brutal and hostile than their human counterparts, almost as if they don't realize that this is more than just a game.
Entrances and Exits:
To enter, find a door with the words "Bye friend" written in marker on Level 1,000. You can leave by entering a hole, which leads to Level 1,002.
